ABOUT ROSALIND:

Although Rosalind’s stint as a Family Nurse Practitioner only started after she completed her Master’s in Nursing 5 years ago, the roots of her medical career go further back. Her first break was as a Patient Care Technician during her time at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University where she was pursuing her Bachelor’s in Science for Nursing. Ever since, Rosalind has worked in a multitude of medical settings including medical/surgical units, progressive care units, cardiology and correctional nursing.

With a career spanning over more than 5 years and replete with a broad-spectrum nursing expertise, Rosalind has mastered the art of ‘holistic healing’. She abides by the mantra of integrative medicine, using both traditional and alternative natural remedies to treat the patient on an emotional, physical and spiritual level, rather than just targeting the ailment. Rosalind believes that sustainable wellbeing requires that the patients take ownership of their own health. Her approach, thus, is to actively involve her patients in ensuring their own health by working with them as partners, rather than working on them as patients.
