About Kristina

Kristina has been practicing as a small animal veterinarian for the past sixteen years. Over the course of this long and fruitful professional journey, she has gained considerable knowledge of and expertise in veterinary anatomy, animal science, infectious disease, pathology, microbiology, parasitology, epidemiology, toxicology, immunology and public health.

Kristina has served in the clinical as well as supervisory capacity at various animal clinics and veterinary services.  Her collaborative work with other experts in the veterinary field helped Kristina to further hone her skills and motivated her to expand her horizons. She is always on the lookout for new avenues to explore in order to engender a broader impact within the veterinary field.

Her strong communication and interpersonal skills are the cornerstone of her professional approach which allow her to assist in end of life care by counseling clients and providing kind and compassionate support.

Kristina identifies both as an adventurer as well as a homebody. She likes to spend her free time doing a bit of horseback riding, skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, or boating. When she is not taking to the outdoors, you might find Kristina unwinding at home with her two kids, her partner Michael, their two dogs, a cat and a Russian Redfoot tortoise. Kristina takes special pleasure in the simple pursuits of life, her favorite being cooking and reading.
