How to Get Rid of Pimples Fast

Pimples are a normal skin condition that affect many people. Pimples are an inflammation of the skin in which the sebaceous glands (oil glands) become infected with bacteria, swell up, and fill with pus.

Excess sebum secretion by the oil glands is the primary cause behind this problem. Pimples generally occur on the face, neck, back and shoulders. Though not a critical condition, pimples can make a person feel miserable due to their appearance.

  • Dip a clean cotton swab in fresh lemon juice and apply it to the pimples before going to bed.
  • You can also mix one tablespoon of lemon juice with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and put it on the pimples overnight. In the morning, wash the skin well with lukewarm water. However, this particular remedy is not suitable for those with sensitive skin.

  • Another option is to mix a few drops of tea tree oil in 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel. Apply it on your pimples and blemishes, leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse it off.

Note: Steer clear of tea tree oil if you have sensitive skin.

4. Toothpaste

The toothpaste that you use every morning to clean your teeth also can be used to treat pimples quickly. It is most effective when used following the ice remedy. You must use white toothpaste; avoid using gel toothpaste.

  2. hey guys, wanted to say, kurkumin is really the best. it gets rid of redness, pimples and tones your face. there are tongs of face masks online using kurkumin, find one that fits for you!

  3. Have been battling with pimples for d past 12 years ,I try usin ice with sensodyn toothpaste last nite after washing my face,it work great.Thank you so much you guys for the great information you shared on these platform…….Love you guys ??????????

  4. Mix lemon juice baking soda and glue that works for me leave it on for an hour .it feels like it’s burning but it actually makes your skin soft and reduces the size of the pimple. when I’m done I put ice

  5. The toothpaste works but I don’t know about the lemon juice. I am afraid it will only make the zit worse than it already is.

    1. Toothpaste really works? I tried but it burns, and got abit red and my skin is dry, pls tell me, i abit scared now to use toothpaste, i use the brand colgate.

  6. Ok so honey did work for me and so does the toothpaste but what really works is aloe Vera gel it really helps with or without the tea tree oil!

  7. Try applying dry orange peel mixed with two to three drops of lemon add a bit of turmeric and honey and add milk to it to make a thick paste.
Then you first need to clean your face with warm water rub this mixture gently all around your face and leave this mixture for about 15 to 30 min and then wash your face with warm water and apply oil free moisturiser. It works.

  8. I think that the toothpaste works the best. The icecube is very helpful though, about 30 minutes before work or school, just put an icecube on your pimple, and it will be less redin about 10 minutes. So the icecube does work, but not to clear acne for me. I have heard to use garlic though, so I will be trying that with some crushed garlic. For those who need more tips I suggest:
    1. Wash your face with cold water, not hot. This will help reduce redness.
    2. Try using honey for an overnight mask. This hasn’t worked for me in specific, but I know that it has for others.
    3. Drinking lots of water. I dislike this one, but it does help. Everyday try to drink about a gallon of water, if you can get into that routine, you’ll never have a break out again.
    4. Don’t with with dirty hands or fingers/fingernails. This is put bacteria into the blemish, and will cause more blemishes in the surrounding area.
    5. Try to live in a clean environment. Living clean will help you to collect less bacteria.
    6. Go outside and breathe fresh air. Fresh air has shown to help acne clear, if you sit in the house you won’t clear your acne much, but just cause more. You could even just sit outside on your phone for a few hours.
    7. Not touching your face. By touching your face, you will get more bacteria into your pores and cause more breakouts.
    8. Be extra careful about your acne situation near your period. Near your period it is common for you to break out more, don’t be alarmed by that one time a month.
    9. I suggest doing masks from the store, like charcole masks, or clay masks, even a baking soda mask. All of these help to reduce redness and minimize the size of breakouts. The charcole mask just completely removes blackheads.
    10. Don’t use scrubs to often, they will begin to irritate your skin. If you are going to use them though, I suggest that you use it very gently, but for a longer period of time.
    11. Eat healthy. Your diet can effect you lots, if you eat lots of sugars you are likely to get more breakouts because your body can’t break down all that sugar. But eating a bunch of fruits is also not the answer because they have natural sugar, so it would be the same situation.
    12. If you play an intrsument that touches your face, you may find that you get breakouts in that certain area that your instrument touches. I highly suggest that you have a cloth that you can use to clean your intrument’s mouth piece or chin piece before actually putting it on your chin.

  9. Dr. Felderhoff showed me this when I was 14 (63 years ago)
Avoid pork, (don’t know why) Avoid soft drinks (sugar ?)- especially Coke and Pepsi

    & Do this:
1)Apply very hot facecloth to affected area – then soap the area thoroughly (heavily)
    2) Allow to dry until face feels almost stiff
3)Wash off and apply hot face cloth for 1minute to draw out the soap as well as the excess oil & grease

    4)Repeat steps 1-3… then …..
    5) Apply very cold face cloth in order to close the pores
I did all the above daily for almost one year and watched my skin become unbelievably better. Pork? Pepsi? Don’tknow but I followed the doctor’s orders. Hope you do too

  10. I find washing my face with a wash, and then using toner and moisturiser and in a week, your face will be clear. Also, exfoliating twice a week helps

  11. I just applied the lemon juice, on the bridge of my nose in between my eyebrows, concidering I have acne and dry skin there. It burned for a few seconds but quickly went away. I’m pretty young and my first day of school is in about five days so I’m hoping it’ll clean it a little for school. I wouldn’t mind, or care if I still hadn’t a little acne but I need most of it cleared up. Hoepfully this works!

  12. I’m going to try the honey remedy. After I try that for the half an hour thing I’m going to take my shower and before bed use the ice and toothpaste trick (classic).Hopefully after trying this for three weeks it will solve all my problems. If the toothpaste trick does not work I will switch to the ice and lemon remedy before bed. I can’t wait to try this because I’ve had enough acne problems in my life. Because believe me… walking into school everyday looking like I had eaten a pepperoni pizza wrong and having all the pepperoni’s left over on my face is not fun. Not fun at ALL! Anyway guys thanks for all the reviews and thoughts from all of you… and wish me luck! I’m seriously hoping this stuff works. Fingers crossed!!!! 🙂

  15. Guys am very much behind of baking soda….. Is it the same soda we use for in our daily cooking of traditional relish called umulembwe (delete) or the one which they use for making fritters? Please help me guys.

  16. Another remedy that really works but is kind of weird is using Listerine a dip on each pimple and they disappear leaving you with clear skin.
