There is evidence of this in Indial medical text. For personal research on the cautions of aloe and pregnancy, read into Charak Samhita texts – specifically Vol. I.
I am an Indian. and JUST FYI do not believe Ayurved that blindly. Very first those texts are written over 15000 years ago (proven by Carbon dating and not whats written in Text). Second, there is no evidence that each and everything written in the texts are proven, its moot. There are still multiple opinions even among the believers of Ayurved. Couple of things from Ayurved are proven with modern medical studies but not all and Aloe thing is also one of the “un-proven” theory. On top of that I suppose it will be difficult to study as well since as a natural mammal psychology that if we are made believe to have danger of something regardless of what the truth is we wont courage to do the thing, and who wants to take risk of loosing baby just for study purpose!

Ginger is absolutely ok for pregnant women. OB/GYNs, such as myself, recommend it to control nausea and vomiting of pregnancy before prescribing prescription medications. Please consider removing that note from your website.

Drink in an empty stomach..i think its more effective. I’m doing that every morning. The clear phlegm that i feel in the back of my throat and nose are all gone just 1 week. Dont add any sugar just pure. The stronger it is the more effective. Its more effective to me than apple cider.
There is nothing unsafe about fresh ginger while pregnant.. supplements you need to talk to a dr about but fresh organic ginger root is fine.. just responding to the last remedy.
